Yellow in Israel. The vehicle of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was involved in a road accident while leaving Ramle, the scene of a terrorist knife attack. According to the police, the car overturned following – according to some witnesses – it had gone through a red light. According to Ben Gvir’s office, the minister is in good condition and conscious, but has been taken to the nearby Shamir Medical Center for further treatment.

Images show his vehicle overturned, while another car has its front end destroyed. The police are investigating the causes of the accident. Amit Segal, a journalist for Channel 12, quotes a witness according to whom Ben Gvir’s vehicle ran a red light and states that in recent months there have been numerous reports of traffic violations by his official vehicle. In August, Ben Gvir was involved in another accident when his vehicle ran a red light on his way to an interview. His daughter, her driver, one of his security guards and the driver of the other vehicle were also slightly injured in the accident, with three of them taken to hospital.
