The United States has reportedly ordered its citizens to self-evacuate from Israel.
Since October 7 2023, it has been recorded that the United States has evacuated thousands of its citizens from Israel. But when Israel bombarded Lebanon, some 86,000 US citizens were told they had to flee on their own on commercial flights costing up to $13,000.
In Gaza, US citizens have also been memorialized regarding evacuation requests. Meanwhile, more than 1,800 people have been evacuated by land via Egypt.

They also face long waits and obstacles including Israeli bombardment of the enclave’s only exit.
“Our citizens continue to book available flights, and those flights are canceled over and over again, and guess what? The cost of airfare for one available commercial flight is $8,000. When I told @StateDept about the cost constraints, their response was, ‘We will provide they’re on loan’,” said Palestinian-American US lawmaker Rashida Tlaib, citing Al Jazeera, Saturday (5/10).
Israel has killed more than 2,000 people in Lebanon in two weeks. And in nearly 12 months, Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed at least 41,800 Palestinians. (Ndf/M-4)
