Por who is not familiar with the Jewish laws on Kashrut (this is not reserved for simple food), the news may have come as a surprise: at a weekly meeting of the Netanyahu government, it was decided to finance a pilot project for the supply kosher electricity for the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak, very close to Tel Aviv. Concretely, this means the installation of a storage center for electricity produced only during the working week and not during the Shabbat, which, for observant Jews, constitutes an unacceptable desecration of the sacrosanct day of rest.
