Jeddah: The League of Islamic Nations has called an ‘extraordinary emergency meeting’ as the Israel-Hamas war continues. The meeting will be held on Wednesday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Arab countries are holding an emergency ministerial meeting at the invitation of Saudi Arabia, which holds the presidency of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

U.N. Saudi Arabia accused Israel of ignoring the warnings of international agencies. Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Jassim Albudaiwi called for an end to attacks targeting civilians to avoid tragedy.

Palestinians suffering from war continue to flee Gaza in search of refuge. The mass exodus came following the Israeli army warned 1.1 million people in northern Gaza to evacuate within 24 hours. On Friday night, the Israeli army entered Gaza and began a search.

The UN also urged northern Gaza residents to move to the southern and Rafah border areas. Officers were also warned on Friday. This has put the Gazans, who are under Israeli blockade, in more trouble. The explanation is that the order is because Hamas members are lurking in the residential areas of Gaza City.

Those staying in refugee camps in schools and health centers have also been advised to vacate. Israeli military spokesman Jonathan Cornicus claimed that the operation once morest Hamas is being carried out in a way that does not pose a danger to the people.
