Israel confirmed that it killed two senior Hamas officials after an attack in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed this Saturday that they killed Muhammad Hussein Ali al-Mahmoud and Said Alaa Naif Ali, two senior Hamas officials, after launching a new attack against Lebanon.

On their X account (former Twitter), they announced the death of the two leaders of the terrorist organization.

“Two high-ranking terrorists from the Hamas military branch in Lebanon were eliminated in two joint operations by the IDF and the Shabak,” the IDF message states.

Israeli forces note that Ali al-Mahmoud served as Hamas’s executive authority in Lebanon. Likewise, he directed “terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria.”

Israel also accuses him of being responsible for the entrenchment of Hamas inside Lebanon. “They used it to supply weapons for rocket attacks against Israel and attempts to make advanced weapons.”

Naif Ali, for his part, according to Jerusalem, carried out terrorist attacks against Israeli targets. At the same time, he “worked to recruit Hamas operatives inside Lebanon.”

These casualties occur two days after one year of the brutal attack that the terrorist organization launched on Israeli soil in 2023. That event sparked the outbreak of war and left more than a thousand Israelis dead.

It is worth mentioning that on Friday, Israeli authorities confirmed that, since the beginning of October, they have eliminated more than 2,000 military targets. Also 250 Hezbollah terrorists.

These include five battalion commanders, 10 company commanders and six platoon commanders.

“The Israeli Air Force is also carrying out preventive ranges during these intelligence-based operations in southern Lebanon,” they slipped.
