ISRAEL carried out 12 air strikes on the southern outskirts of Beirut and the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, causing one person to die on Saturday (5/10) morning. That’s according to Lebanon’s official news agency.
The news agency confirmed that one of the victims was killed in an Israeli attack on a house in the Saad Nayel area.
Meanwhile, Anadolu correspondent reported that Israeli forces carried out another heavy airstrike on Saturday morning hitting the area near the Burj al-Barajneh in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

However, there were no details regarding casualties or damage due to intensive Israeli bombing in the area.
Data from Lebanese authorities reports that at least 2,011 people were killed, more than 9,500 people were injured, and 1.2 million others were displaced.
Hezbollah and Israel have been involved in a cross-border war since Israel started the Gaza war.
Israel’s onslaught on Gaza killed more than 41,800 people, most of them women and children, following attacks by the Palestinian group Hamas in October last year.
The international community has warned that an Israeli attack on Lebanon could escalate the Gaza Strip conflict into a wider regional war. (Ant/Z-2)
