The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began an attack on the Gaza Strip on Thursday night, according to the military. The attack takes place after this day several rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israeli territory.

According to the IDF statements, warplanes attacked two underground tunnels from the cities of Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis.

At the same time, they noted that “the two tunnels did not cross into Israeli territory and did not pose a threat to the residents of Israel.” In addition, two arms production centers used by the Palestinian Hamas movement were attacked.
