Israel attacked Iran, American media, Iranian confirmation of explosions in Isfahan – World

American media say that Israel has attacked Iran. American TV channel ABC News first reported the attack, which was later confirmed by CBS citing an American official.

Iran’s Fars News Agency reported explosions at the airport near Isfahan, Iran.

American media say that the Israeli Air Force has taken action near Isfahan Airport. According to CBSTV, two US officials said that an Israeli missile hit a location in Iran. However, these officials did not say anything regarding the target.

According to the Washington Post, Israeli officials say that the purpose of the attack was to send a message that Israel has the ability to target Iran.

However, Iranian officials say that the explosions were caused by missiles fired by the missile defense system and that no Israeli missile might harm Iran.

According to Iranian officials, the country’s air defense system has been activated and has shot down several small drones.

On the other hand, flights of fighter planes have been seen in the south and west of Iraq, while Israeli planes have also flown over Syria.

Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Iranian Army Qomars Heydari said that Iran is ready to counter any other possible air threats, and that the suspected object will be shot down by air defense if it violates the airspace.

He said that Iran’s attacks on Israel on April 13 made it clear that the Islamic Republic is dominant in the region and can establish security without the interference of any external power.
