A stabbing and ramming attack in the city of Beersheba, southern Israel, on Tuesday, killed four and wounded others, according to the volunteers of the Israeli Ambulance Service.
“A man armed with a knife arrived at a commercial area in Beersheba and wounded three civilians with a knife,” the police said in a statement.
She added that she was “suspected of a terrorist act.”
According to the police, the suspect stabbed a woman at a gas station, then drove his vehicle towards a person riding a bicycle, before reaching a nearby mall.
Police indicated that the attacker got out of his vehicle and stabbed a man and a woman, before a passerby shot the attacker, whose fate has not been determined.,
A spokesman for the Emergency and Ambulance Service, Zaki Heller, confirmed to AFP earlier that one death had been recorded, before announcing the death toll had risen to four.
