Daniel Isaila, coach of Bani Yas (Capital Swords), enumerated the reasons for his team’s loss to Ittihad Kalba (The Tigers), 2-1.
Although the Swords of the Capital advanced with a friendly fire goal signed by goalkeeper Issa Ahmed, the Tigers prevailed in the 22nd round match of the ADNOC Professional League.
In the press conference that followed the confrontation, Isela opened his remarks, saying, “It is difficult for me to explain what happened, as I am very upset.”
The 50-year-old explained, “It is not the first time that the referee, or the ‘mouse’ video assistant referee, has made a mistake once morest us. It is a big mistake that changed the outcome of the match once morest us.”

Many of our players suffered from colds, coughing, and a high temperature, and some of them were in the hospital.”
Isila stressed, “After 35 or 40 minutes of the match ( once morest Ittihad Kalba), I knew that our players’ rhythm would drop due to illness and fatigue, so they are heroes for me regardless of the result.”
