Japan’s PiKii joint company (headquarters, Chuo-ku, Niigata) collaborated with ‘Daewon Media (CEO Jeong Wook, Jeong Dong-hoon)’ to release ‘The Binding of Isaac: Repentance’ on November 24. Announcing the official release of the Korean version, we started pre-orders today on August 19th.
‘Isaac’s Burnt offering: Repentance’ is a ‘rogue-like action RPG’ in which the map, enemies, and item placement change randomly every time you play a new game. It is a new game with an expanded concept that adds items and stages to all the contents of the previous work ‘The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth’ and the additional DLC ‘Afterbirth’ and ‘Afterbirth+’. More than 700 items and 17 player characters with various abilities and attack styles, more than 400 monsters appear, and game balance and graphic adjustments were made in addition to various new elements, including multi-mode that can be enjoyed by up to 4 players on one screen.
The user must control the main character ‘Isaac’ to avoid ‘Mama’ who is chasing him, and ‘Isaac’ can use his weapon ‘tears’ to fight the creepy monsters that attack him. In addition, you can discover strange items to strengthen yourself, discover various secrets hidden underground, and find a safe place.
The package version of ‘Isaac’s Burnt: Repentance’, a roguelike game for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation4, will be released on November 24 at a retail price of 59,800 won, and pre-orders will be held from 3 pm on August 19th. The packaged version is a limited quantity for the first time, and a ‘Isaac’ doll (when purchasing the Nintendo Switch version) or a ‘Gappy’ doll (when purchasing the PlayStation 4 version), and a special booklet ‘Repentance’ are provided with the game software together with a packaging box.
