Since the release of the iPhone 15, and its Pro versions, many users have complained on social networks regarding the overheating of their new device. Is this a technical bug that requires a recall, or a hardware problem due, among other things, to the switch to titanium for the iPhone frame? None of this according to Apple.
The Apple brand has indeed recognized the problem, but wanted to reassure users: a simple update of iOS 17 should be enough to resolve this problem. “We’ve identified a few conditions that can cause iPhone to run hotter than expected. The device may seem warmer during the first few days following setting up or restoring the device due to increased background activity“, explains the Cupertino company in a press release.
“We also discovered a bug in iOS 17 that affects some users and will be fixed in a software update. Another problem is some recent third-party app updates that cause system overhead. We are working with these application developers on fixes which are currently being deployed.“
