Is there torment in the grave? This question was submitted to the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta, during a live broadcast conducted by the house today, Tuesday, through its official page on the social networking site “Facebook”, and it was answered by Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Sami, Secretary of the Fatwa in the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta.

Abd al-Sami’ said: “It was reported on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he told that whoever was killed on the Day of Uhud will be tormented in the grave, as it was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, that God Almighty told regarding the family of Pharaoh and said: “Drown, then enter a fire.” It indicates the commentary and the meaning of the noble verse that as soon as they drowned because of their denial of the Prophet of God, they witnessed the torment and entered the Fire.

And the Secretary of the Fatwa at the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa continued: “This issue is one of the issues of audio-beliefs whose denouncers are not expiated, but the beliefs of Muslims, the verses of the Qur’an, and the hadiths of the Prophet indicate that this is proven.
