Composed of four episodes, the fiction with Odile Vuillemin, Joyce Bibring and Fred Bianconi (amazed by his playing partner) follows the investigation of a young gendarmerie captain confronted with the disturbing murder of an entrepreneur. As she carries out her investigations, she is soon troubled by the victim’s wife, and discovers that several of the latter’s former husbands met a disastrous end. Why consider Isabelle as a black widow?
A suspicion: Is the miniseries inspired by a true story?
Telling the story of a serial killer, the thriller was actually inspired by a real drama, or even several. Indeed, during the press conference, Franck Olivier confirmed that the scenario is indeed the result of several news items, including that of the black widow of Isère. Thus, in 2008, a man was found burned in his car. At the end of a long investigation, it was ultimately his wife, Manuela Gonzalez, who was convicted of this crime. The police will also discover that she was involved in the deaths of her two previous husbands.
