A global failure in Microsoft’s Windows operating system is causing problems for numerous companies, including in the airline, financial and media sectors.
According to information from Downdetector, since Thursday night, sudden spikes in incidents have been recorded on various websites that include Microsoft applications.
The problems began in the United States and spread to other parts of the world. All flights of several American airlines, including Delta, United and American Airlines, were grounded on Friday morning due to an outage suffered by Microsoft.
Will it affect flights in Venezuela?
The global outage does not affect the flight system in Venezuela, according to sources from the Ministry of Transport, who spoke to journalist Ginette González.
“Sources related to the national Ministry of Transport emphasize that the air computer chaos recorded this morning does not affect Venezuela because it has independent systems“, the communicator explained.
