In this regard, Dr. Amir Suleiman, a consultant pediatrician and neonatologist, said that it is better for the child to drink tea and milk separately, because consuming the two at the same time does not bring any benefits to his health.

Suleiman explained that the body faces great difficulty in absorbing the nutrients found in milk and tea when consumed together, which makes it a useless drink for children.

Some research has revealed that milk proteins interfere with the body’s ability to absorb the antioxidant compounds in tea, according to Healthline.
