Hibiscus on an empty stomach

Eating 2 cups of hibiscus on an empty stomach for a month helps to reduce high blood pressure clearly compared to taking medications for that, which was revealed by a British study conducted on 70 people, according to the “Healthy Eating” website.

Experts attributed the reason to the effects of antioxidants in hibiscus, which also contribute to lowering cholesterol and controlling blood sugar levels.

Although some believe that hibiscus is an acidic drink that should not be taken on an empty stomach so as not to cause digestive disorders, researchers have confirmed that hibiscus does not contain inflammatory phytochemicals, which are considered to be chemical plant substances.
