Is Erdogan launching a new military operation in northern Syria?

This map was presented by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the United Nations in 2019, but today it is back to the fore once more.
The desired safe zone along the Turkish-Syrian border was a topic discussed at the National Security Council meeting in Ankara, following Erdogan announced his intention to launch a military operation in northern Syria.
If it occurs, this operation will be the fifth of its kind following the Euphrates Shield in 2016, the Olive Branch in 2018, in addition to the Spring of Peace in 2019 and the Spring Shield in 2020.
During which, a safe zone will be established in northern Syria with a depth of 30 kilometers, with the integration of all areas where Ankara launched previous operations. It will target areas such as Ain al-Arab and Manbij.
