Chinese President Xi Jinping has instructed the armed forces to make full preparations for war. Meanwhile, military exercises around Taiwan continue in full force.
China claims that Taiwan is its renegade province. Over the years, China has focused more on the show of power around Taiwan and continues to do so.
China’s armed forces have recently conducted extensive military exercises near Taiwan. Chinese President Xi Jinping, while visiting the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force Brigade, said that things are now at a stage where anything can happen at any time.
According to state media CCTV, Xi Jinping said that the armed forces should make full preparations so that they can fight at any time if ordered. On the one hand, strategic deterrence has to be improved and on the other hand, the ability to retaliate has to be developed.
