The spokesperson for the Egyptian billionaire, Lotfi Mansour, revealed the truth of the news circulating regarding his bid to buy Chelsea, following the Russian Roman Abramovich announced his intention to sell his stake in the English club.
And Abramovich had announced in an official statement on the Chelsea club website a few days ago, that he offered his share of the English club’s ownership for sale during the coming period, following the British government decided to prevent him from entering the country, following the start of the Russian operation in Ukraine.
A spokesperson for the Egyptian investor told the British newspaper, The Guardian: “In light of recent media speculation, we want to make it clear that we are not seeking to make an offer to Chelsea Football Club at this time.”
And in recent days, the British newspaper, The Telegraph, reported that Lutfi Mansour made an offer to buy Abramovich’s share in the ownership of Chelsea Football Club.
