The judge’s order is related to a 2016 libel lawsuit brought by US plaintiff Virginia Giuffre against Epstein’s ex-lover and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. The names of more than 180 people, including accusers, alleged victims and those allegedly involved in the crimes, should also be unveiled by January 2nd at the latest.
Previously they were only known as “John Doe” or “Jane Doe” (placeholder names like John Doe). The first names are leaking out: According to “>,” ex-President Bill Clinton is said to be mentioned in the files over 50 times as “John Doe 36.” Bill Clinton’s advisor at the time, Doug Band, was identified in the documents as “John Doe 008.” The British Prince Andrew (63) should also be mentioned.
Epstein found dead in prison cell in 2019
Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty in December 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison in June 2022. According to the court’s opinion, as Epstein’s confidant and ex-girlfriend, she had recruited underage girls and young women for years for sexual abuse by the well-connected financial investor. Some girls were also passed on to other men.

Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while he was in custody awaiting trial. The authorities assume suicide.
