Monterrey. – Changes in the urban transport system of Nuevo León continue to occur, and now the protagonist of a news that has caused a certain feeling of sadness among users is the Metrobus.

Recognized among other things for being red, This truck stopped being called that way, and as of this week it adopted the name of Ruta 405.

According to users, this truck that leaves daily from the Felix U. Gomez stationin Monterrey, continues its normal route until The Estanzuelain the southern part of the municipality, but with the difference that it no longer provides passengers with the red ticket that allowed them to take the Metro service.

While it is true that this bus can be taken to get to the aforementioned Metro station, now boarding this means of public transport must be done in two ways:

  • I Move Card: Plastic card that you can get at the Metro stations, and that you can recharge with electronic money to pay for both the Metro and the Muevo León buses.
  • Urban: Mobile application that provides you with a QR code with which you can also pay for these mobility services, also using electronic money.

Will the red truck disappear?

This is a scenario that cannot be confirmed, much less when the truck, in this case Route 405, is in operation, however, there are users on social networks who think it is a matter of time before this unit is displaced by a Transmetro.

One of the groups of people who most regret the news are students who belong to faculties of the Mederos campus of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL).

This is because in addition to the truck taking them to their school, it used to charge a total of $5 pesos in cash to any student who showed their student ID.

“The bad thing if they remove it is that it will affect many students who go from Fomerrey 45 to the Dos Ejidos school or Torres Bodet for only $10 pesos, the route is always full in the morning with only students and some other workers,” wrote Darcrux César on Facebook.
