Iraq .. a new outcome of the “Karbala train station” disaster

A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that: "The outcome of the dirt collapse of the Imam Ali train in Karbala So far, there have been 7 deaths and 6 injured".

And the Civil Defense Directorate announced, on Monday morning, that the number of bodies that have been recovered by the rescue teams so far has reached only 7: 4 women, two men and a child.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening, when dozens of visitors were near the religious site known as "Imam Ali train"Large rocks collapsed, with ground gaps, causing a number of visitors to fall into the deep hole, and injuring others.

Civil defense teams use light rescue equipment to cut reinforcing bars and raise concrete blocks, where they were able to deliver Oxygen and drinking water and food for detainees by making holes in the pile of rubble and concrete blocks, and I was also able to communicate verbally with some of them, to reassure them.

A state of sadness and anxiety prevailed in Iraq towards the besieged people, especially as they ended their first day under this rubble, amid difficult environmental conditions, as activists and commentators expressed their solidarity with the besieged there, amid calls for the government to intensify its work to save them.
