“Threats of an Iranian attack against Israel are credible and ‘real’,” White House spokesman John Kirby said today, without giving details on the timing or targets of such an attack.
As he said, Joe Biden “has been briefed repeatedly by his national security team and the US intends to do everything possible to ensure that Israel can defend itself.”
It is recalled that a report by the Wall Street Journal states that Israel is preparing for a possible attack on its southern or northern part, while the head of American diplomacy, Anthony Blinken, urges China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia to pressure Iran not to proceed with an attack against of Israel.
It is noted that Iran lets it leak that no decisions have been made, however Israeli media reproduce the news that an attack is imminent.
Iran is expected to attack Israel within the next 24 to 48 hours, with a WSJ report saying that the Jewish state is “preparing for a direct attack” on the north or south of the country.
