Klagenfurt/Ljubljana – Two days after the violent death of his ex-partner at Ljubljana airport, an Iranian man was arrested in his apartment in Klagenfurt on Saturday. As the Carinthia State Police Directorate announced in a broadcast that evening, the 39-year-old was arrested “after targeted searches” on the basis of a European arrest warrant. He is said to have stabbed the 33-year-old woman to death on Thursday. He has three underage children with the Iranian woman.
