DUBAI (Archyde.com) – Iran has reached an agreement to buy Russia’s newest Sukhoi-35 fighter jets, state-run Iranian television said on Monday, citing Iran’s mission to the United Nations. Russia is using Iranian-made drones in invading Ukraine, further strengthening military ties between the two countries.

Details of the deal are unknown, and no announcement from the Russian side has been reported. Iran is also investigating military aircraft purchases from several other countries, the people said.
