Iran to help Russia with aircraft maintenance

Russia and Iran signed an agreement on the supply of Iranian equipment for aircraft and the provision of repair and maintenance services and technical support for Russian aircraft

The Iranian authorities will help Russia in aircraft maintenance. This was stated by the representative of the Iranian Civil Aviation Administration Mirakbar Razavi.

“It was decided to sign a cooperation agreement with Russia in the framework of ensuring the possibility of exporting to the Russian Federation parts and equipment manufactured in Iran, as well as the implementation of repair services and maintenance and support of Russian aircraft by Iranian service centers,” Mehr reports Razavi’s words. In addition, the countries signed a memorandum of understanding, according to which the number of passenger flights will be increased to 35 per week.
