Iran: The student who undressed in public was transferred to a specialized care center

“The student in question suffers from psychological fragility and was transported by ambulance from emergency services to a specialized care center,” according to the press release, which did not specify the name of the institution. Earlier today, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology of Iran Hussain Shimayi described the young woman’s behavior as “immoral,” without giving any indication of her fate.

The student in just a few hours and after a video that went around the Internet became a symbol of freedom, since with her half-naked protest she reacted against the strict Islamic dress code of Sharia (Islamic law) in Iran.

University security guards arrested the student, referred to on social media as Ahu Daryai (a name that has not been independently confirmed), and there are fears of her being tortured and abused by the authorities.

“Amir Kabir Newsletter”, a student group on Telegram wrote that the student was walking around half-naked after being harassed at the Islamic Azad University by the Moral Police for not wearing the hijab (headscarf) properly. In fact, they claim that she suffered a serious physical attack, as they hit her head either on a car door or a pillar, which caused her to bleed profusely. “The blood stains were found on the tires of the car,” it is noted.

Social media users are reporting that the girl has fallen into a coma, triggering memories of the abuse case that resulted in the death of Kurdish-born Makhsa Amini two years ago.

Amnesty International called for an “independent and impartial” investigation into the allegations of Acho’s abuse.

For its part, the Iranian regime spoke of a “disturbed person”, with government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani saying he had been taken from the police station to a treatment center, but the treatment that will follow was not disclosed. A spokesperson for the University claimed that the woman suffers from mental health problems.

Wave of support for the Iranian student

Her arrest mobilized many reactions, with the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noel Barot, praising the courage of the student. “She did an act of resistance and became a model for women’s struggle in Iran, for women’s struggle everywhere where their rights are threatened,” she said. Baro even revealed that the French authorities know where the student is and are closely monitoring the case.

The immediate release of the student is requested by the UN rapporteur for human rights in Iran, Amnesty International, as well as many activists. Imprisoned human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi issued a statement from prison, saying “women pay a price for their disobedience, but they do not succumb to violence.”

Rebellion movement after death of Mahsa Amini

Islamic law in Iran imposes a very strict dress code on women, who must wear headscarves and loose clothing that hides their bodies. Iran’s women – supported by men – have launched an unprecedented uprising in the country following the death in September 2022 of young Mahsha Amini, who was arrested for violating the dress code as a tuft of her hair was visible. During her detention she was apparently abused and left in a comatose state before she expired.

The “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement that mobilized thousands of protesters for weeks – in the biggest protests in decades in Iran – was massively suppressed by the authorities, with at least 551 dead and thousands arrested.

Google AdSense

It appears you’re working with a JavaScript code snippet that manages various advertisement scripts for a webpage. This code dynamically loads scripts ⁤for AdSense, OneSignal notifications, Disqus comments, and a few other ad services. However, there⁣ are many incomplete statements and comments in your code, indicating that it’s either a ⁣placeholder or needs to be filled in.

Here’s an outline of ‌what you might need to ⁣consider while completing or refining this code:

### JavaScript Code Structure

1. **AdSense Handling**:

– Ensure ⁣that there is‌ logic to ‌check if AdSense scripts need to be loaded.

– Complete the ‌ad loading process for‍ each AdSense ⁣slot.

2.‍ **OneSignal Initialization**:

⁣⁤ – The OneSignal setup looks complete but ensure it aligns with the documentation from OneSignal.

3. **Disqus ‌Integration**:

– ⁣The Disqus configuration function appears incomplete. Make sure to set the correct `this.page.url` value.

-⁣ Ensure ‍you complete the script source URL for loading the Disqus script.

4. **Asynchronous Script Loading**:

– Your `asyncLoadScript` calls⁤ should include valid URLs for the respective scripts you’d wish to load.

5. **Handling Delayed Loading**:

‌ – You⁤ have several `setTimeout` functions which can be used for delaying the loading of certain scripts. Ensure the timing ⁢makes sense for your page load.

6. **Placeholder Warnings**:

– Thoroughly check comments that have been left unfinished (e.g., ‘put-your-callback-macro-here’) and fill‌ them out for functionality.

7. **Testing**:

⁢ – After completing all the setups, make sure to test your ⁢integration extensively to ensure ‌all ad scripts load⁢ correctly without conflicts.

### Example Code Snippet

Here’s how you might rewrite some of the sections to clarify and fill in gaps:

“`javascript

} ⁣else {

document.querySelectorAll(‘.adsense-for-mobile’).forEach(function(e) {

let ads ⁢= e.querySelector(‘.adsbygoogle’);

 if (ads) {

⁣ ads.remove();

‌ ⁢ ‍ }

});

}

const adSenseSlots = document.querySelectorAll(‘.adsbygoogle’);

const adSenseSlotCount = adSenseSlots.length;

if ⁢(adSenseSlotCount > 0) {

adSenseSlots.forEach(function(slot) {

‌ // Example loading an AdSense slot here

⁣ (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

});

}

// OneSignal Initialization

window.OneSignalDeferred = window.OneSignalDeferred || [];

OneSignalDeferred.push(function(OneSignal) {

 OneSignal.init({

‍appId: “487cc53b-3b66-4f84-8803-3a3a133043ab”,

});

});

// Disqus Configuration

var ‌disqus_config = function() {

this.page.url = window.location.href; // Use current URL

this.page.identifier = “1560222”; // Unique identifier for the page

};

setTimeout(function(){

⁢ var d = document,

‌ s = d.createElement(‘script’);

s.src ⁢= “https://YOUR_DISQUS_SUBDOMAIN.disqus.com/embed.js”; // Proper Disqus script⁤ URL

s.setAttribute(‘data-timestamp’, +new Date());

(d.head || d.body).appendChild(s);

}, 3000);

// Example asyncLoadFunction implementation ‍(if not already defined):

function asyncLoadScript(src) {

 var script = ⁣document.createElement(“script”);

⁣ script.src = src;

script.async = true;

⁢  document.head.appendChild(script);

}

// Rest⁢ of the code for loading other ad services …

“`

Do remember to replace placeholders like `YOUR_DISQUS_SUBDOMAIN` and add⁢ valid ⁢URLs for any asynchronous loading required.‌ Ensure that each section is properly integrated for the final result you anticipate.
