According to iefimerida, Iran’s airspace is used for flights between Europe and Asia by airlines, which are limited to two alternative routes either through Turkey or over Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Zi said.
While airspace has been reopened in the region, some restrictions are in place.

Israel closed its airspace on Saturday but reopened it on Sunday morning, while Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon also allowed flights again.
