The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed that Iran’s nuclear facilities are well-protected, and Israel vowed to pay a heavy price if it attacked them. This comes while Germany said that the Vienna negotiations aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement had entered a critical stage.
A spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said in statements he made, on Wednesday evening, that Israel knows that Iron Dome cannot stop Iranian missiles.
He added that his country’s missile capabilities and regional influence were a red line, not for negotiation.
And last month, Ali Fadavi, deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, said that Israel does not dare to carry out its threats, and that they are fully prepared to settle it on the ground if it launched any aggression against his country.
In the past few weeks, there have been statements and reports about US-Israeli preparations to take military action against Iran if diplomatic efforts to revive the 2015 agreement between Tehran and major powers fail, which restricts Iran’s nuclear activities and subject them to international monitoring.

Meanwhile, in the Austrian capital Vienna, talks are continuing in the eighth round of negotiations aimed at reviving the Iranian nuclear deal.
German Foreign Minister Annallina Bierbock said on Wednesday that the nuclear talks with Iran had entered a crucial stage.
Birbock considered that Iran has squandered a lot of trust and that there is not long time to revive the nuclear agreement.
Sources close to the negotiations said that the difference in priorities between Iran and the Western powers constitutes one of the most important obstacles, as Iran focuses on lifting sanctions and demands guarantees, while Western powers stress the necessity of Iran’s nuclear commitments first.
The chief Iranian negotiator, Ali Bagheri, described the Vienna negotiations as positive, and said that they are making progress and are focused on lifting sanctions.
Bagheri added that efforts have been going on for days to reach a result in the ongoing negotiations in Vienna to revive the nuclear agreement.
On the other hand, Washington and other Western parties have reported modest progress since the resumption of negotiations in late November.
In this context, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said Wednesday that the visit of Choe Jong, Deputy Foreign Minister of South Korea, to Vienna has nothing to do with the ongoing nuclear negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement.
