Fouad Choukr, the military leader of Hezbollah, was killed Tuesday evening in an Israeli air raid on a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Iran said on August 3 that its ally Hezbollah should strike Israel in “depth” et “not to limit oneself to military targets”in response to the assassination of the military leader of the Lebanese Islamist movement on Tuesday near Beirut.
Fouad Choukr, the military leader of Hezbollah, was killed on Tuesday evening in an Israeli air raid on a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which left six other dead, including five civilians.
“Certain lines” “crossed” by Israel and Hezbollah
In a speech on Thursday, party leader Hassan Nasrallah promised to respond to this “assault” against the Hezbollah stronghold in the Lebanese capital, raising fears of further escalation.
