Asuncion, IP Agency.- Through an agreement between the Social Security Institute (IPS) and ANDE, those insured by the social security system will be able to access customer service at the ANDE collection office on Boggiani Avenue.
In its first stage, dental services will be offered, which will be expanded to include nutrition and mental health services, in order to decentralize the services.
The specific agreement signed allows both institutions to develop and manage the enabling of the Annex Health Post of the Boquerón Peripheral Clinic and the Dental Center
The director of the Central Area Hospital of the IPS, Osmar Amarilla, reported that the care service has been implemented for three weeks and already has 120 dental patients.
He stressed the importance of bringing mental health care closer to the population and encouraging people to consult with psychology professionals.
The IPS promotes care networks in different parts of the country through agreements with the Ministry of Health. The aim is to ensure that insured persons can access consultations and medications at the Ministry’s centres by virtue of the cooperation between both systems.
