Batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians had a poor start. Mumbai Indians lost two wickets in the very first over when Trend Bolt bowled. Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir were out on the very first balls they faced. While scoring 20 runs, four of Mumbai’s leading batsmen entered the tent. With Tilak Verma and skipper Hardik Pandya batting responsibly, Mumbai looked set to claw their way back into the contest.
