Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022. Chasing Kolkata’s target of 176, Hyderabad lost just three wickets in 17.5 overs. This is Hyderabad’s third consecutive win of the season. Rahul Tripathi (71 off 37 balls) and Aidan Markram (68 off 36 balls) were the main contributors to Hyderabad’s victory.

Batting first, Hyderabad struggled to find the back of the net, but Rahul Tripathi and Aidan Markra added 94 runs for the third wicket. Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field. Nicholas Puran was also unbeaten on five off eight balls.

Andre Russell took two wickets for Kolkata.

Earlier, Kolkata lost the toss and opted to bat. Kolkata scored 175 for eight in 20 overs. Nitish Rana (54 off 36 balls) and Russell (49 * off 25 balls) were the main contributors to Kolkata’s top score. For Hyderabad, Natarajan took three wickets and Umran Malik two.
