O leaker known as Ice Universe shared, in a publication on the Chinese social network Weiboa table with what the line specifications may be “iPhone 17” and the supposed iPhone SE 4th generation — devices expected to hit the market at different times next year.
Starting with the main line, the “iPhones 17” should again have four models, but with a difference in relation to both the current line and the “iPhones 16”, which should be announced this year: the presence of a “iPhone 17 Slim”which will replace the Plus model.
According to the leakerboth the “iPhone 17” as the “iPhone 17 Pro” will feature a 6.27-inch screen, while the “iPhone 17 Slim” will be 6.65″ and the “iPhone 17 Pro Max” of 6.86″ — all four will feature a display with a refresh rate (ProMotion, up to 120Hz) and LTPO 1 technology in the construction of the OLED 2 screen.
When we talk about cameras, although we haven’t provided much information about the most basic models (which will continue to have a dual system), the leaker stated that all three lenses on the Pro models will have 48-megapixel resolution — which corroborates a recent rumor from Ming-Chi Kuo.
With Qualcomm 5G modems in all four devices, the “iPhone 17” line is expected to feature two variants of Apple processors: while the two most basic models are expected to be launched with the chip “A19”, the two most advanced will have the “A19 Pro”built on a 3nm process.
Speaking of prices, the table indicates that the “iPhone 17” will cost US$800the “iPhone 17 Slim by US$1.300the “iPhone 17 Pro” by US$1.100 and the “iPhone 17 Pro Max” by US$1.200 — which means that the new variant will make a big mess of the round lineup we currently have, making the supposed new model the most expensive (and, consequently, the top-of-the-line).
iPhone SE
Continuing with the most basic model, which received its latest version in 2022, we should see relevant news in its next update. As rumors indicate, for the first time Apple would use OLED technology in the device’s screen, which would also increase from 4.7″ to 6.06″.
Another thing that would increase would be the resolution of the single rear camera, which would jump from the current 12MP to 48MP — although the screen refresh rate should remain at 60Hz and the device (as is tradition) should feature the processor launched the previous year (in this case, this year), the “A18”.

Some specifications of the device are still raised as doubts by the leakersuch as the possibility of it having 6GB or 8GB of RAM (which could make it eligible for Apple Intelligence) and having a modem from Apple (which would be a kind of test for the component) or Qualcomm.
With a side built in aluminum, the replacement of Touch ID by Face ID and the Lightning port by USB-C, the new iPhone SE should be launched between March and May 2025, for a price between US$500 e US$550 — a few dozen dollars more expensive than the current one.
