New analyst information Jeff Pufrom Haitong International Securities, report that the forthcoming iPhones “15 Pro” e “15 Pro Max” (or “15 Ultra”) may arrive at higher prices — in the United States — compared to Apple’s current lineup of professional smartphones.
According to MacRumorsPu explained that this increase should be a consequence of the various hardware upgrades expected for the new generation of devices, such as the titanium chassis, the design with slightly rounded sides and the side buttons with haptic feedback, among other things.
Currently, the iPhone 14 Pro starts at US$1,000 — a price that has become the “norm” among high-end Apple smartphones since the iPhone X, in 2017. The iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at US$1,100 — price range introduced with the iPhone XS Max in 2018. The analyst did not say how big these readjustments will be, if they actually happen.
In September, it is worth remembering, Apple raised prices for virtually all iPhones in a number of important markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia – with emphasis precisely on the Pro line models. The USA and China were some of the few countries that escaped this readjustment.
It is not yet clear, however, if the entry models, that is, the iPhones “15” and “15 Plus”, will also receive price adjustments. Like the Pro models, they are expected to launch with the Dynamic Island (Dynamic Island), USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning and a new design.
Obviously, if the new iPhones really arrive more expensive in the US, it is very likely that they will also land in Brazil with prices higher than the current line.
