One of the most basic components of any smartphone worth its salt, the vibrating motor not only does it allow you to know when there is a notification or call ahead, but it also allows effects to be used within applications. On iPhones, the component responsible for this is the Taptic Engine.
Like any electronic component, this engine can have a problem, which makes it not work the way it should. To help resolve this, we’ve separated some tips below.

Open Settings and go to “Notifications”. Check recently installed apps and momentarily disable them to see how your iPhone behaves. If it continues, try deleting the app. Open the App Store, tap your photo (top right) and update apps if they aren’t already. Restart the iPhone, as this can often be a temporary bug. Open Settings, go to Sound and Touch » Touch » Vibration and switch between the various available modes to see if the Taptic Engine is working and if you notice any differences between them. Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS. To check this, open Settings and go to General » Software Update. Open Settings, go to Accessibility » Touch and uncheck “Vibration”. From there, analyze whether the problem persists or not. Restore iPhone to factory settings. You can do this by the device itself or with the help of a Mac or PC. Obviously, make a backup before that so you don’t lose your data.
