In 2024, the only big new feature in the iPhone 16 would be the introduction of a Capture button. This lack of innovation on the part of Apple would be detrimental to it.
Almost six months ago, Apple presented its new iPhones to the world. Titanium frame, action button, telephoto lens allowing 5x optical zoom… There are many new features on the iPhone 15 Pro compared to its predecessor. Usually, Apple makes major changes every year. And what Apple has accustomed us to seems to be confirmed for next year.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone drops are expected to decrease in 2024 by 15%, mainly due to small changes between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. “Apple is not expected to release new iPhone models with significant design changes and more complete/differentiated generative AI ecosystem/applications until 2025 at the earliest”explains the insider.
For months, there has been mention of a Capture button on the iPhone 16 capable of zooming in on the screen, improving focus or even activating video recording. Apart from this button and the usual new chips, only a change in the size of the iPhone 16 Pro screen is expected.
