iPhone: iOS 16 announces the return of the famous clownfish

During the announcement of the very first iPhone, in 2007, Apple highlighted its revolutionary phone by displaying in particular a wallpaper on which appeared two clownfish.

The iPhone was everywhere at the time, and was talked about a lot. As a result, this wallpaper has become legendary, and few people remember that it was never actually offered. Indeed, when the first iPhone of the name was marketed, clownfish were not included in the list of wallpapers available natively on the smartphone.

Which brings us, 15 years later, to the third beta of iOS 16, which will be publicly available in September. And to everyone’s surprise, this third version offers a wallpaper similar to that of 2007. So simple wink, which will be removed before the final version of the OS, or tribute to Steve Jobs, who loved this background screen?

We won’t know for a few months. But the reference will undoubtedly appeal to addicts of the apple brand.
