iPhone brand phones have become leaders in sales among smartphones in monetary terms on the Russian market even following the cessation of official supplies by Apple. Izvestia writes regarding this with reference to market participants and data from research companies.
“Despite Apple stopping official deliveries to Russia and reducing sales of gadgets in units, the iPhone is still the leader among smartphones in terms of sales in monetary terms. iPhone accounts for regarding a third of revenue in the smartphone market,” it says in the text of the article.
Previously China started an investigation in relation to the Taiwanese company Foxconn, an Apple supplier and the largest iPhone manufacturer. The reasons for the investigation are not specified. But the Foxconn press service stated that they intend to cooperate with the Chinese authorities.
