As we recently announced, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) approved the iPhones 16 (all models), officially releasing the new devices for sale in the Brazil.
One piece of information that the iPhone 16 homologation document (specifically) brings is that the model is also being manufactured in Brazil by Foxconn — in addition to units in the China by you India.
It is worth noting, however, that although the Foxconn factory in Jundiai (SP) stated in the document, this does not necessarily mean that there are, at this moment, devices made here or even that they will be available at the beginning of sales in Brazil – but it indicates that this could start soon (if it really hasn’t).

Furthermore, this is in line with what we saw with previous models, such as the iPhone 15, which also began to be produced in Brazil (although after its launch here). Likewise, the other models (iPhones 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max) sold in our territory will still be imported.
