Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The iPhone 16 series was officially introduced globally in early September 2024. This cellphone is already available in many countries, but cannot yet be sold in Indonesia due to obstacles in complying with the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) regulations.
About a month after it appeared, many user complaints began to be reported. Especially for the premium series, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
On the online forum Reddit, many iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max users reported that their phones frequently freeze suddenly, especially when using the camera application.
There are also those who report that the iPhone 16 Pro series heats up easily, so the battery is easily drained. Some also complained that their phones suddenly rebooted.
The iOS 18.0.1 release which was released in early October was supposed to fix several bugs that still exist in the iPhone 16 series. However, it seems that the software update has not been able to eradicate all the issues experienced by users, quoted from PhoneArena, Monday (21/10/2024).
“I am very frustrated with this problem. There has been no update that can fix this problem. Now, I have to use a device that doesn’t work without a replacement. Even though I only bought this cellphone 20 days ago,” said one netizen.
“When using the cellphone, the screen suddenly turns black. The boot screen then appears,” said another netizen.
Hopefully Apple will soon fix this problem with the release of iOS 18.1 this month or iOS 18.2 next December. Let’s just wait!
