Among the speculations regarding the news that the iPhone 15 line will bring, two new rumors are hot out of the oven. The first is that Apple is reportedly working on a new “frosted glass” rear design for the devices, similar to what was previously used on the “Pro” model iPhones.
The second is that a new color option would be launched: cyan green, for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. The tipster says that this tone would be similar to what Apple released for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. 9to5Mac previously reported that the iPhone 15 Pro will be available in a new “dark red” color and that the iPhone 15 will be available in blue.
If Apple uses a new frosted glass process for the glass back of the iPhone 15, it may also suggest design changes for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This was seen, for example, on the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
“Pro” phones are expected to use new matte titanium edges, it’s possible he uses a gloss finish for the rear window to complement the matte edges. This is just speculation, however.
The iPhone 15 lineup is expected to be announced later this year in September.
