iPhone 15: users complain about problems with the new smartphone’s screen

Life isn’t exactly easy for Apple with the launch of the new iPhones 15. After complaints regarding overheating and battery problems, it appears that a new problem has scared the owners of some devices of the brand new model.

More specifically, a good number of users of the new iPhones 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have complained that their devices have suffered from screen burn-in right at the beginning of their useful life.

An example of this was demonstrated by user KBrod on a Reddit forum dedicated to the device. Check out the photo posted by the user:

The photo is an example of what several other users have complained regarding over the past few weeks. According to them, the devices would be presenting the image retention and burn-in phenomenon (a permanent stain that affects the functioning of the display).

However, it is worth highlighting that image retention is usually something temporary – which has not been seen in many of these devices – and that burn-in on OLED screens usually only happens following long periods with the screen set to high brightness – something that would also not apply due to the short life of the device.
