iPhone 15: the true capacities of the batteries are known

2023-09-16 20:56:12

We wondered why Apple barely mentioned the autonomy of its iPhones on September 12, during its keynote. This is because it has changed very little over the past two years.

If you assiduously followed the keynote on September 12 and in particular the passage devoted to the iPhone 15, you will probably have noticed that Apple does not spend much time on the autonomy of its new smartphones. On its website, Apple promises one-day battery life for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 plus, or two hours more video playback than a certain… iPhone 12.

The Cupertino company compares its new models to an iPhone released in 2020, it’s rather strange. And yet, it’s for good reason, since the battery capacity has been practically unchanged for two years and the iPhone 13. And that’s good, since Mysmartprice was able to obtain the list of the true capacities of the iPhone 15 batteries.

iPhone 13 / 14 / 15

iPhone 13 : 3.227 mAh
iPhone 14 : 3.279 mAh (+1,61%)
iPhone 15 : 3.349 mAh (+2,13%)

iPhone 14 Plus / 15 Plus

iPhone 14 Plus : 4.325 mAh
iPhone 15 Plus : 4.383 mAh (+1,34%)

iPhone 13 Pro / 14 Pro / 15 Pro

iPhone 13 Pro : 3.095 mAh
iPhone 14 Pro : 3.200 mAh (+3,39%)
iPhone 15 Pro : 3.274 mAh (+2,31%)

iPhone 13 Pro Max / 14 Pro Max / 15 Pro Max

iPhone 13 Pro Max : 4.352 mAh
iPhone 14 Pro Max : 4.323 mAh (-0,66%)
iPhone 15 Pro Max : 4.422 mAh (+2,29%)

The autonomy announced by Apple is therefore one day, but the arrival of the Bionic A17 Pro chip engraved in 3nm should nevertheless be beneficial for the battery of the iPhone 15. For its part, Apple preferred to highlight the prowess that it will bring to gaming on iPhone.
