“iPhone 15 Pro Max” will have the thinnest bezel among smartphones, suggests leaker

As we have been following, some rumors and alleged leaks point to the possibility that the “iPhones 15 Pro/15 Pro Max” have a slimmer bezel than current top-of-the-line models.

Now, information released by the leaker known as Ice universe realize that the frame of the “iPhone 15 Pro Max” will be only 1,55mmmaking it the slimmest ever made on any smartphone.

This is because, according to the informant himself, the “iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the record” of the Xiaomi 13, whose frame (at the bottom of the screen) is 1.81mm — at the top/sides, the thickness of the bezels is 1.61mm.

The “iPhone 15 Pro Max” will break the 1.81mm black bezel record of the Xiaomi 13, and we measure that the width of the black bezel of the cover plate is only 1.55mm. (S22 and S23 ≈1.95mm, iPhone 14 Pro 2.17mm.)

For comparison, the leaker also provided the bezel measurements of the iPhone 14 Pro (2.17mm) and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (1.95mm).

It is worth noting that the leaker specifically mentioned the “iPhone 15 Pro Max” and not the “15 Pro”. However, the smaller top-of-the-line model is also expected to have thinner bezels.
