A new market record

In a tweet, Ice Universe claims that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will “break the record” of 1.81mm held by the Xiaomi 13. Indeed, Apple’s next model is said to have a black bezel width of just 1.55 mm. For comparison, Ice Universe gives the measurements of the edges of the iPhone 14 Pro (2.17 mm) and the Samsung Galaxy Ultra S23 (1.95 mm).

Both iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to have thinner, curved edges than the iPhone 14 Pro. But it would only be the largest model in the range that should benefit from its thin edges. At least if we believe the leaker.

Rumors suggest the Pro models will also feature a titanium frame rather than stainless steel, and solid-state volume, mute, and power buttons that feature haptic feedback. These rumors are in addition to the 5 new features expected on the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro.
