The Apple group announced yesterday, Monday, that it will publish an update to the operating system to prevent the “overheating” that was recorded in some devices of its new smartphone, “iPhone 15.”

A spokesman for the group explained that it was able to “identify some factors that may cause the iPhone’s temperature to rise more than it is supposed to,” following a number of testers reported problems of this type in some phones of the new model.

Apple explained that it is normal for the smartphone to “seem” hotter during the device configuration phase in the first days of use.

The company added that it had also discovered a bug in the “iOS 17” operating software for some users, “and it will be corrected in a software update.”

Apple also pointed to another factor: “recent updates to third-party applications that cause increased load on the system.” She confirmed that she is working with these application designers “on patches that will be published.”

Articles by influencers and specialized testers reported that “Instagram,” “Uber,” and some video games such as “Asphalt 9” (car racing) contribute to heating the device.

Some observers believed that the problem lies in the structure of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is made of titanium, but Apple confirmed that this material, along with aluminum and a new design, on the contrary, allows for better heat dissipation.

In mid-September, Apple officials unveiled a new set of iPhone phones. The basic model, “iPhone 15,” will be sold at a starting price of $800. As for the professional model, which is the “iPhone 15 Pro Max,” its price is at least $1,200.
