September 7, 2022 was the time of year when Apple was to unveil its new iPhones. We suspected that we would also see the new Apple Watch and rumors were going in all directions for other products. Here is what the Culpertino giant had to present to us today.

Apple Watch 8 and SE
The introduction of novelties began with the brand new Apple Watch 8 as well as the completely redesigned Apple Watch SE. This year, the Apple Watch 8 is more of an evolution. It keeps the same design as the previous model such as the always-on Retina display, the 18 hour battery and the fall detection.
We now add a sensor that will calculate your body temperature. This will be used to measure if you have a good sleep every five seconds or even to predict a woman’s menstrual cycle. It is so precise that it can measure changes as small as 0.1°C.
The new Crash Detection Mode uses the new gyroscopes and accelerometers in Apple Watch to detect when you’re in a car crash. If you don’t respond within 10 seconds following it detects an accident, your Apple Watch will contact help if it’s connected to iPhone or has a cellular connection.
Finally, a new power conservation mode was added to allow the watch to have up to 36 hours of battery life. You will no longer have access to the always-on Retina display, the heart rate sensor, many other sensors and other functions. The Apple Watch 8 is available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, in several colors and finishes. It can be ordered now and will be in stores September 16 starting at $529.
For its part, the redesign of the Apple Watch SE offers the same S8 SiP processor as the Apple Watch 8. It will therefore be 20% faster than the previous model and will also be able to offer the function of detection of accidents. It can be ordered now and will be in stores September 16 starting at $329.
Apple Watch Ultra
It had long been rumored that Apple was working on a bigger, sturdier watch. The Apple Watch Ultra with its new massive size of 49mm and its titanium case, will offer greater robustness as well as a greater autonomy of 36 hours. Power saving mode will achieve up to 60 hours of battery life.
It also has 3 microphones as well as a more powerful speaker and a screen that is twice as bright. All the new functions of the Apple Watch 8 are also available as well as many new functions for athletes such as diving up to 100 meters.
The Apple Watch Ultra can be ordered now and will be in stores September 23 starting at $1,099.
AirPods Pro
The second generation of AirPods Pro offers active noise cancellation and an improved transparency mode thanks to its all-new H2 chip.
In addition to the new processor, you will have a better battery offering up to 6 hours with active noise cancellation and 4 more recharges with the redesigned case. The latter is now water and sweat resistant. It has a more powerful loudspeaker which will allow it to be found more easily.
The new AirPods Pro will be available to order on Friday and will be in stores September 23 starting for $329.
iPhone 14 et iPhone 14 Max
The rumors are finally confirmed since it is the end of the iPhone Mini. From now on, we will only have two models, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max.
It should be noted that these two models will have the A15 Bionic processor, which is the same as the iPhone 13. This is not really a problem since it is already very powerful. In terms of design, it is identical to the previous model.
A new 12-megapixel main camera features an f/1.5 aperture along with a new larger sensor which, with the help of the Photonic Engine, will provide better low-light capabilities.
At the front, we are also entitled to a new camera which, with its f/1.9 aperture and its all-new, more powerful autofocus in low light, will offer much better profile photos.
Accident detection mode like the Apple Watch 8 will also be available on both iPhones.
Four colors will be offered: black, blue, starry sky and the brand new purple. The new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be available to order from Friday for $1099 and $1249 respectively. The iPhone 14 will be available in stores on September 16, while the iPhone 14 Max will be available on October 7.
iPhone 14 Pro et iPhone 14 Pro Max
It is in the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models that we find the most interesting innovations. Full of the new A16 Bionic processor, we find the always-on display, a satellite connection for emergencies, as well as the new feature that Apple calls “Dynamic Island” or the dynamic island.
This function consists of using the space used by the front camera to insert an area there to control the sound, your music application or even the GPS. Quite ingenious and well thought out.
At the back, there are three new cameras. The first main 42 megapixel which paired with the “Photonic Engine” will offer a quality 2 times better in low light. It can also be used to zoom 2x using only the 12 megapixels in the middle of the camera.
For its part, the new 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with its 1.4 µm pixels will provide more detail for your landscape or macro photos. The whole thing is completed by a 3x telephoto lens.
Otherwise, we still find the screen more resistant with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, 5G connectivity, eSims cards, ProRes photos and videos as well as accident detection mode.
Finally, a satellite connection will also be included in both models to contact the emergency services if you find yourself in a section with no cellular service!
Four colors will be offered: black, gold, silver and the brand new purple. The new 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available to order on Friday and will be in stores September 16 starting for $1,399 and $1,549 respectively.
