Some customers who purchased the iPhone 14 Pro from Verizon, the largest mobile operator in the United States, are reporting unstable 5G cellular connections and random disconnection of calls, foreign media reported on the 26th (local time).
According to the report, iPhone 14 Pro Verizon users are complaining to the online community Reddit that the iPhone 14 Pro’s 5G speed is too slow on the Verizon Network. It is known that the thread had more than 100 comments from users experiencing similar problems.
Some users have reported that cellular service is interrupted often enough to prevent them from sending text messages or using certain apps, while others report that calls are frequently dropped at random. There are no problems with the iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max model. Some users have reportedly installed Apple’s latest iOS 16.1 beta, but the issue hasn’t been resolved.
Apple and Verizon have yet to comment on the issue.
